The hotel staff treated us like family. Anything we needed, anything we asked about was easily provided, and their friendly nature was warm and caring. The room was comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was extraordinary and dinner and/or drinks was very relaxing and enjoyable. We could not have asked for a better hotel or have been treated any nicer. Besides that, walking to and from the town/port to catch a bus or go shopping, dinner, etc. was so enjoyable as the hotel sits on a small hill and it was a fun experience to go for that walk daily. The sunsets were so amazing and could be viewed from inside or outside the hotel. We really hope we can visit Naxos and this special hotel some day again.

They picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the airport for no extra charge. Everything was exceptional, best part of our trip was naxos, in no small part due to them!

The entire Grotta team was fantastic! From transportation to and from the airport, to front desk check-in, dining room, and cleaning staff; all were super nice and helpful with recommendations for our first time in Greece. Breakfast and dinner were fabulous and authentic. Location was quiet and ideal for walking to the town center or waterfront. Beautiful views of the ocean and sunset and room was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely return and recommend this fine establishment to friends and family.

If you are like I was earlier this month and looking for a hotel on Naxos then look no further than Hotel Grotta as it is one of the best places I have ever stayed . Everything about this hotel is class and the attention to detail is second to none as the owners have spared no expense to make this a welcoming and comfortable place to stay . The rooms are really well designed and comfortable and I would recommend a room with a sea view balcony . The hotel has the feel of a private house and that you are part of the family and the staff are lovely and I would like to mention how helpful Connie was at reception at all times , Graziella took our orders at dinner and was really nice as was Kostantino at breakfast . Food was all home cooked and there was the best breakfasts we had during our stay in Greece with a huge selection of Greek pies and dishes . Don’t hesitate book Hoel Grotta as we will during our next visit to Naxos .

Hotel Grotta is a beautiful hotel. The staff treats you like family. Very close to town and port. It’s the perfect location when you visit Naxos. Breakfast was outstanding too. Many homemade delights. Our room was large and very comfortable. We visited the spa one evening and took a sauna. It was very relaxing.

We enjoyed great drinks from the bar and dinner from the kitchen. The house wine, offered complimentary on arrival, was excellent. Cleaning staff left delicious desserts in our room every day. The location is close to the town for convenience, but far away enough to provide a peaceful atmosphere. It was great to sit and enjoy the view of the portara and town.

We absolutely love Hotel Grotta!!! We dream of the elaborate amazing breakfast and the view in the dining room. The room was very comfortable and clean…ours had the most spectacular view. We also enjoyed the pool/hot tub with our private 30 minute soak time. The staff was friendly and helpful, even offering to arrange a rental car which we didn’t know we needed. When we arrived, we were given pastries and beverages and there were pastries waiting for us in the room. if we were to come back to Naxos we would not stay any place but Hotel Grotta… highly, highly recommend this adorable hotel!

The homemade breakfast was so delicious, so many delicious vegetarian pies and quiches and the cakes were divine! The rooms were simple and very comfortable and the opportunity to have the pool and sauna to ourselves felt like a 5 star resort (at no charge!). We had an amazing family holiday and staying here was a huge part of how much we loved our time in Naxos.

From the moment we entered, we were treated like old friends. Check in was slightly delayed due to our early arrival but they were good at communicating what our options were. We had impeccable service in the lounge, even when they were "closed" We could bring our own bottle of wine, they provided glasses, they offered snacks. The breakfast, as you've probably heard, was incredible. It was a joy to see Nicolette and her team every morning, and they made us feel very at home. We came for our honeymoon and they treated us like royalty!

The people at the Grotta are amazing, they make you feel so welcome. They go the extra mile to ensure your stay is a great experience. The food at the hotel is great; we had dinner at the hotel and really enjoyed it.

Absolut perfektes Hotel und sehr, sehr schöne Insel. Wir wurden überaus herzlich, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit betreut. Das war wirklich bemerkenswert und einfach super. Von Nikoletta und dem netten Personal bekommt man alles was man braucht z.B. Tipps bezüglich Stränden, Ausflügen, Mieten von Fahrzeugen, Restaurants usw. Auf diesem Weg möchten wir uns nochmals ganz herzlich bei Nikoletta und ihrem Team für alles bedanken. Es war wirklich super und unvergesslich. Die Zimmer waren immer sehr sauber, an einem Abend hatten wir Wein im Zimmer und an einem anderen Abend stand ein Kuchen im Zimmer. Das Frühstückbuffet war aussergewöhnlich, so etwas haben wir noch nie gesehen. Die Mutter von Nikoletta macht das Meiste selbst und die Auswahl ist riesig…diverse Kuchen, Torten, Quiches, Wähen, dann verschiedene frische Früchte, griechisches Joghurt, Müesli, Milchreis, Brot, Käse, Fleisch, Eier, Tee, Kaffee usw. Also alles was das Herz begehrt. In ca. 15-20 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht man den Strand. Man kann auch mit Bussen an diverse andere schöne Strände fahren. Alle Strände, welche wir gesehen haben, haben uns sehr gut gefallen und das Meer ist überall glasklar, sauber und überall auch bis ins Meer hinein ist es Sand. Ins Zentrum von Naxos Stadt hatten wir ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuss. Es ist wirklich ein atemberaubend schönes Städtchen, mit den typischen weissen Häuschen mit blauen Fensterläden und kleinen Gässchen. Es gibt viele Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte. Uns hat es überall sehr, sehr gut gefallen und sehr gut geschmeckt. Wenn wir wieder einmal nach Naxos in den Urlaub gehen, buchen wir ganz bestimmt wieder dieses Hotel.

Everything at Hotel Grotta is wonderful, but the above and beyond is the staff -- they are the friendliest, most helpful, knowledgeable, and caring hotel people I have ever had. I like them on a personal level, and they keep me wanting to come back again and again.

Cheerful, kind, and extremely helpful, whether it was setting up transfers from the ferry and to the airport or helping us find the best private tour of the island. The glass of wine and edible treat upon arrival were unexpected and delicious. The view from the breakfast area can't be beat. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom looked brand new. The location is great-walkable to Naxos Town and the harbor. What can I say about the breakfast? Simply the BEST of our entire stay in Greece!

I can tell you that this mama, me, was blown away. All others have said it, beautiful views, short walk to town with shops, restaurants and beaches. There were 6 of us as we brought the kids. Not one complaint from them, which is amazing. I rarely write reviews but had to do it this time. I can't recommend it any higher..

It is the staff and their warm hospitality that made this so extra special, like no other hotel we've been to. We had the most amazing time. We would highly recommend Hotel Grotta in Naxos. It was by far the best island we stayed on. The staff are wonderful and the food delicious. I will never forget staying at Hotel Grotta. I am already looking forward to going back. I even dream about the hotel and place. We highly recommend you go. You will not be disappointed.

Hotel Grotta provides five-star hotel service. Every request was attended to with a smile. Notably I lost my CPAP on the flight to Greece and Nicoletta helped my buy a replacement on the small island of Naxos, a service for which I am forever grateful to her. As many noted, the morning breakfasts are outstanding.

The staff, always trying to help with a smile in their faces. Having breakfast at the terrace looking the Portara and Mikonos, os priceless. They offered me (for free) transfer from/to the port. I absolutely recommend this hotel. Oh, and all the comments about the extraordinary breakfast are true. The best in my life, all home made!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Grotta. The staff was outstanding, especially with my grandchildren, making them feel at home. We were treated like family. I hope we will be back one day.

Everything. The staff was wonderful and we felt we made and were treated as friends. The breakfast was superb every morning. We choose to have dinner servers times and the food and ambiance we excellent. Nicolette the team leader excuses the friendly atmosphere of the hotel.

This place is magical! If I could rate it a 6 or higher, I would. The staff is warm, welcoming and so, so helpful. Location is stunning. Mama's breakfast can't be beat and the accommodations are comfortable, well appointed and super clean! We'll go back!

El hotel Grotta tiene una ubicación perfecta. Cerca del centro y con vistas al templo de Apolo. Está todo muy limpio y el desayuno del hotel es espectacular, con mucha variedad y calidad. Todo el personal del hotel te atienden muy bien y te reciben para que te sientas como en casa. Un hotel para repetir.

Everything about the hotel is wonderful from the friendly and helpful staff to the amazing breakfast buffet and proximity to town. Be sure to reserve a time for the private pool and spa! Highly recommend this oasis close to everything.
